Holiday Let - South of France

Restored traditional house in the beautiful mountain village of Llauro, nestled in the foothills of the Pyrenees Mountains.

The house is newly available to let and has been completely renovated and furnished. The style of the house is traditional with rooms on the three floors most of which have wooden floors and old wooden beams spanning the ceilings. The house is somewhere in the region of two to three hundred years old and this character is maintained.

Entrance up the stone steps leads into the main house on the right hand side and to a utility room containing washing machine and freezer and bathroom on the left. This terrace is ideal for having evening tea and perhaps enjoying a glass of wine as the daylight fades.

The kitchen area (containing oven, hob, fridge and microwave) inside the front door leads to the dining area and the main living area.

There are three bedrooms, one at the back of the living area and two upstairs.

Downstairs consists of a 'cave' which has been converted into a beautiful lounge with a wood burning stove. There are two sofabeds located here to cater for larger parties.

The Area

LLauro is a traditional Catalan mountain village nestled at the foothills of the Pyrenees. The village has lots of old character and is a wonderful place to stop and relax. The scenery around is that of mountains and valleys which are covered in trees and shrubs.
